Student-directed "One Acts" Friday-Sunday

The talents of Louisiana College's theater students will be on display - both in front of the audience and behind the scenes this weekend.

It's time for the annual student-directed "One Acts" - a series of short, one-act plays where LC theater majors serve as the directors.

The schedule:
Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.; Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

MPAC Theater
Admission: $1 for students, faculty, staff
General Public: $5

Performances will include:

"The Worker" by Walter Wykes, directed by Billy Douglass and featuring Chris McDowell, Marie Champagne and Seth Thompson.

"Precipice" by William Mastrosimone, directed by John Willie and featuring Michael Cannella and Tabitha Huffman.

"Goodbye to the Clown" by Ernest Kinoy, directed by Dusty Dodge and featuring Marie Champagne, Chris McDowell, Abigail Cope and Candice Carr.

"Family 2.0" by Walter Wykes, directed by Chris McDowell and featuring Abigail Cope, Kris Prestridge, Jessica Ward, Phillip Vincent and Billy Douglass.

"A Matter of Husbands" by Ferenc Molnar, directed by Lauren Dunn and featuring Mandy Williams and Christy Roux.

"The Chocolate Affair" by Stephanie Alison Walker, directed by Abigail Cope and featuring Jessica Ward, Seth Thompson and Kris Prestridge.

The stage manager and light board operator is Deanna Mutch.
