H1N1 vaccines still available from Health Services

by Al Quartemont

Available for students, faculty and staff

This note from Carl Martin, RN, LC's Director of Health Services:

The nurses in Health Services still have plenty H1N1 vaccines (Swine Flu) and are ready and available to give them. Our office hours are 9:00am – 4:00pm Monday through Friday. We ask that you call before coming for the vaccine if it is at all possible to make sure we can see you in a timely manner with little wait time. The vaccines are being made available to students, faculty, and staff. We will also administer the vaccine to adults and children age 15 and older in the community, so if you know of someone interested in receiving the vaccine, please tell them to contact us.

The administration fee to receive the vaccine is $5.00, but we will not turn anyone away that cannot afford the $5.00. We would like everyone who is interested in receiving the vaccine to be able to receive it regardless of whether or not they can afford to pay for it. We will waive the $5.00 fee if necessary.
Please call Health Services at 318-487-7750 with any questions you may have.
