LC Chorale ends year with Spring concert

by Al Quartemont

"Remembering Taiwan" is theme of final performance

It has been quite a spring for the Louisiana College Chorale.

The bulk of the group spent Easter break on a memorable trip to Taiwan, one in which God opened several doors to allow the Chorale to share its talents with an entirely different culture.

And so when it came time to put together its Spring concert, the Chorale knew that "Remembering Taiwan" had to be the theme of this year's final performance.

In a concert mixed with memories of the trip, including a picture slide show and video, the LC singers brought to a close another special year.

Among the highlights of the concert, the performance of "The Crucified Creator," a work inspired from the writings of LC professor, Dr. Chuck Quarles. The piece, which was also performed in Taiwan, was arranged and conducted by senior Cameron Weatherford.

You can watch the performance of "The Crucified Creator" as well as Benjamin Harlan's "A Channel of God's Love" by clicking on the video box below.
