Texas Lutheran Game Week:
Monday, Oct. 24: Each and every week the main word that describes LC football is FOCUS!! The ultimate goal is to reach Salem, Virginia. So after every game, our coach, Dennis Dunn, reminds us how we have the chance to get there, and that is to focus.
Shifting gears a little bit, LC is privileged to have an amazing training crew, which is directed by John Hay along with other helpers like Crystal Nelson and A’Lashuron Hobdy. Any time a player cramps up or something more severe occurs, someone will be in their presence almost immediately. They also provided fluids whenever we need them as well - especially during the fall when temperatures are at the highest and players need to be hydrated the most.
On another note LC football has already received several accolades at this point in the season. Just to name few - for the first time, Louisiana College football is ranked in the national Polls at #21 in D3Football.com. Another first was the start that we had coming out the gates. After a 3-0 beginning and now a 6-1 overall record, the Cats feel they are in a great position to control their destiny all the way to Salem.
